Who we are
Manu is a subscription AI assistant made in India. These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Manu: [legal entity name and registered address — to be completed before beta]. By creating an account or using Manu, you accept them.
What Manu is
Manu answers your questions and helps with everyday tasks using artificial intelligence. AI answers can be wrong or incomplete — please check anything important before acting on it. Manu is not a doctor, lawyer, or financial adviser.
Manu is in beta
You are using an early version. Features may change, pause, or be withdrawn while we build. We may limit or close beta accounts to keep the service healthy.
Your account
Sign in with your phone number, email, or Google account, and keep your login (including OTPs) to yourself. You must be at least 18 years old to use Manu during the beta.
Plans and payment
Manu is a paid subscription: ₹99, ₹249, ₹599 or ₹1,599 per month, paid through UPI. During the beta we confirm each payment by hand, so your plan can take a little while to light up after you pay.
Each plan has daily and monthly limits. When a limit is reached, that part of Manu pauses until it resets or you upgrade — you are never charged extra automatically.
Refunds
If you pay and your plan does not activate, or the service materially fails during a paid month, write to us and we will set it right — including a refund to the same UPI account where needed. A fuller refund policy will be published before public launch.
Fair use
Don’t use Manu to break the law, harm others, or create content that is illegal in India. Don’t attack or overload the service, work around its limits, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content and Manu’s answers
Your messages stay yours. You give us permission to process them so Manu can reply — the Privacy Policy explains how they are handled. We claim no ownership over Manu’s answers; you are responsible for how you use them.
Our responsibility
To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from using Manu, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the month in which the issue occurred.
Ending the relationship
You can stop using Manu at any time and ask us to delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we will say why when we do.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will tell you in the app before the change applies. If you keep using Manu after that, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
